Place Order

The warehouse person can place an order for a customer from the warehouse using the Place Order module. The customers list will display and the warehouse person selects the products by scanning them from different location, add to cart and then place it. The warehouse person can also Hold the order and un-hold it later to complete the order process. After placing the warehouse person can Pick/Pack the order and ship the order in partial shipment or complete shipment.

Steps:

  1. From your Warehouse App, go to Place Order.
  2. Select the customer from the list or you can search the customer from the search bar by company name or phone number.
  3. By clicking on the customer, it will redirect to all product page.
  4. Browse the products and select the quantity of products from the select quantity box.
  5. The product will be added to the cart, click on the cart button to view the products in the cart.
  6. You can change the ship-to address from the dropdown.
  7. Click on Review Order, enter the title of the cart and click on Confirm button and it will redirect to the review order page.
  8. You can also apply other operations with your cart by clicking on New Cart, Hold or Discard Cart, please view this setting in our Advance Concepts section.
  9. You can also add drop ship location and write in order comments.
  10. Select the shipment date.
  11. By clicking on the Place Order button, an order will be placed.
